Pico De Gallo is super easy and delicious! A 4 ingredient salsa to top tacos, and goes well with any Mexican food dish.
5 ripe roma tomatoes, 1 sweet onion, 1 bunch of cilantro and 1 lime or lime juice
Dice tomatoes into very small pieces, removing seeds.
Finely dice sweet onion.
Wash cilantro, remove leaves, (just pull off a handful or two, you will get a few stems, that’s ok!) chop.
Pico will also have chopped jalapeño sometimes, if you want to add some heat!
Add tomatoes, onion and cilantro into a bowl and stir gently, squeeze the juice of 1/2 lime into the bowl on the other ingredients, or use 1 TBSP. of lime juice.
Salt and pepper to taste. lightly stir, and you are done! Refrigerate until ready to use. Fresh, delicious and healthy!
